I always remove mine when I do anything that involves my hand/fingers getting wet and never had that issue maybe try that.😊 I also use that as my charging time! When I shower, wash dishes etc.

Are people really not taking it off and making sure their fingers aren’t sitting in moisture…

Okay guys so I’m a bartender and my hands are just constantly wet throughout the shift! I wouldn’t have time to take the ring off and dry it every time. Would y’all suggest me to just not get one at that point 😐

you need to dry under it after you wash your hands/shower/etc. i always slide it up a little and dry off that area.

The smaller one does this less, but take it off when you wash your hands and clean the underside of it and dry everything before you put it back on….. you should do this with any rings

Make sure you’re drying your hands really well after washing or showering with the ring. I’ve had my ring for around 3 days and I haven’t had this issue.

Oh no! Looks like maybe moisture causing it. Like others have suggested, dry it really well underneath after washing. I hope it works for you, my Oura ring is so beneficial to me! I absolutely love it and on my second one!

I’ve had mine for several years and when I wash my hands or do dishes it does this but it’s never been a worry for me, I just figured it was normal due to moisture underneath. If I don’t wear it for a few hours, it goes away so to me it’s completely normal!🤷♀️

I have a weird sensory thing with water under rings. I could never not take it off and dry my hands before putting it back in.

Mine was causing eczema-like flare ups and I eventually returned it.

My husbands ring did this when he was washing his hands/doing the dishes without taking it off so the moisture was getting trapped!

Glad to see the brand responded. Ive heard people take it off when showering or washing dishes. Maybe take it off when youre going to get your hands wet!? I’m looking to buy one, too!

Sorry you’re dealing with that. Please remove the ring, keep your finger and ring clean and dry, and see a doctor if it exceeds 2–3 days. DM us.

Yes that’s happened to me once all your dead skin is off it’ll stop but make sure you dry your hands good and under your ring it happened more when my hands were wet or when I don’t take it off to wash my hands
