this is why i like korra, she genuinely goes through it, has to find herself and rebuild, so many of us who suffer from chronic illness understand you cant just get back up

“The Mind can be your powerful ally, or your greatest enemy.” Dang! I never thought of that but I think Katara’s word to Korra as serves as a perfect psychological mirror for Azula. And it would make a ton of sense when looking back at the original ATLA series. Azula was being groomed by Fire Lord Ozai’s toxicity that allows her to weaponized her intellect to achieve perfection. But it ultimately allowed it to become her greatest enemy in which it’s manifested as profound paranoia, hallucinations, and a total, tragic break from reality as Azula breaks down mentally in the final Agni Kai during Sozin’s Comet.
