Plant purple clover next year it’s a perennial, so less work the next year following. Crimson Clover is an annual clover flower single-season cover crop that dies off in cold weather. And the sweet yellow clover is a biennial so it will flower the second year and then die off after that winter. Purple clover is a perennial clover with large, round or globe-shaped, cherry-red to pinkish-purple flowers.
