I literally just had this with a trooper myself, I am not a Leo, but an inner city Emt for many years. I never knew on the job meant you were a Leo. I just thought it was a professional courtesy as a first responder on the job. I’ve been on the job since 1987 and never heard that lol now I know. 👍

I stopped a guy in tinted out pickup, thin blue line full rear window decal, tell me he was on the job and flipped a wallet badge real quick. I asked to see it and it was an Allied Universal badge. Wrote him and called his mall and told his supervisor smh

Years agoI don’t know how many times I just got off duty after after 4-12 shift and I’d see a trooper by himself with a car pulled over on Rt 80. I’d show my ID out the window and he’d just wave me on. I’d wait a few minutes and he’d wave me on again. Ok. No problem. Don’t want my help if shit goes down?? Just shake my head and drive away.
