Oliver Cosh, 36, of Wensum Crescent, Bicester, was sentenced to nine years in jail at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, June 26. After a week-long jury trial at Oxford Crown Court in April, Cosh was found guilty. Since then, he has been remanded. Oliver Cosh was convicted on six charges of touching a child under the age of thirteen and one count of encouraging a child under the age of thirteen to have sex. Cosh abused two victims; one was eight years old, and the other was ten or eleven. In addition, he will be permanently added to the Sex Offenders Register and subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Detective Constable James Boden of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, the investigating officer, stated: "Oliver Peter Cosh is a predatory offender whose actions represent a shocking exploitation of two vulnerable children under the age of 13."
