@armin.phys1o: Post ACL reconstruction surgery Part 1 These are the exercises you should be focusing on within the first 0-2 weeks after getting the surgery. During this time, Your goals should be to focus on: •Understanding your weight-bearing guidelines, some surgeons will want you to follow different weight bearing protocols. •Understand what range of motion you are allowed to push the knee into - how much extension or flexion you are allowed to do/get into. Please note that the flexion exercise in this video is only for demonstration, only bend your knee to the allowed ranges, but use the belt as needed to assist you. • Maintain your cardiovascular health • keep your hamstrings and calves flexible and focus on proper quad activation • regain full knee extension as much as possible Share this video with someone who needs it after their ACL surgery or someone who is preparing for the surgery.
