My doctor told me today, literally an hour ago, that she had to check if even medically relevant to test my hormone levels because it’s just not done and she wouldn’t be able to read the results even if she ordered it. Is perimenopause treatment even real in the US? I can’t seem to find it.

I had to develop uterine cancer before I could have a hysterectomy with a family history of the same cancer. Thank god I knew the subtle symptoms and had my mom’s oncologist evaluate me.

I’ve NEVER thought of it that way. But I agree. If there is no cure for failing ovaries why not intervene so we don’t have to suffer?
