In 1992 the Euro wasn't a thing yet. So I doubt people would associate a nonexistent currency with it. The Euro was established in 2000.

i’m from a country in europe but not a country that uses the Euro and it never even crossed my mind that people would think the ‘Euro’ at the beginning of ‘Euro Disney’ was about the currency and not the continent

It wasn’t just built on farmlands. It was built on a WWI battlefield. Before they could start construction, they had to clear it of all leftover ordinance.

I did not like DLP. Compared to Disney world you can tell Disney doesn't put in the same effort. Their space mountain was the 🔫 show. They changed it to star wars however the line, the carts, everything is still the old steam punk theming. They just stuck some banners up that have star wars on 😅 Saying that I went in 2022 there were still COVID restrictions and they have been doing a massive expansion so things might have changed, but as someone who went to Disney World a few times in comparison it didn't have that same magic ✨

technically the euro (currency) only appeared in 1999, so I think it's because it's become a currency that the name change (to dissociate the two)
