how stale is your bread that you can easily spread butter on it. If I tried this with my white bread of choice and room temp butter it messy the bread up

so by my own reconing. step 1. butter some white bread, spread evenly step 2. dip buttered side in the sprinkles. but specifically the tiny sphereical shaped ones (i forget what theyre called) step 3. no wait thats it right? ...how is this difficult.
