Airline loyalty isn’t what it used to be on the main domestic ones. 🥲 AA also did this for their basic economy but Southwest still offers miles/points for their basic fare!

I remember when first class tickets were automatically eligible for a full refund back to the form of payment. Now getting a refundable first class ticket has up to a 50% surcharge.

Airlines are no different than any other companies in America . You want extra gauc you pay , you want better gas you pay , you want to skip the line at Disney you pay . What really pisses people off as they remember the time when airlines didn’t squeeze you. Disney , chipotle, hertz , air b&b , resort fee’s have been squeezing you more subtly over time .
