also its strange because I've sold with them before and they didnt list my item UNTIL it was authenticated, and that was like, a vintage Coach bag. so why would their authentication be less stringent for Hermes?

I’m incentivized to get my LV duffel back that they haven’t sold in 2 years but have put it in sale. Except they are trying to charge me a $200 “stock fee” to get it back. I will never use them & will not recommend.

I own 2 physical storefronts in FL where all we do is buy/sell authentic designer - the real real reps reach out every few months trying to get me to do an in house (in my stores) consignment appointments.. I’ve owned my stores for 16 years - it’s been a good 11ish years of absolutely never working with the real real. How did all of you miss the multiple authentication issues and lawsuits with not only real reel but also fashionphile??

It’s also crazy that their return window is 14 days after the SHIPMENT date, not the date you receive it and they have to RECEIVE it within 21 days of shipment date. So if there are delays you’re kinda screwed.

Aside from authentication - TRR makes interest off that $10k holding it - so even if they issue a refund, they still made money and the longer they drag it out, the more money that make even with a refund. And doing this at scale is basically what insurance companies do- so TRR taking a page from them - it’s business model much of Berkshire Hathaway uses (warranties, insurance, etc)

They don’t even authenticate, they lie. My mom bought an “authenticated” goyard from them and received a fake. She had to FIGHT for a return and refund.

Wait HOLD ON!!!! So you’re telling me the reel reel doesn’t physically have the bags that they have on their website????? I understood it was consignment, but I assumed that everyone sent their bags into the Real # Real #, and then the Real # Real # authenticated them, took photos and listed the Bag and then the Real Real does all of the shipping .. you are telling me that they have bags listed that the customer still has in their possession and then they only receive that bag once a purchase from their site is made???? PLEASE explain this in general.

Also, the short amount of time they have this persons money they are earning interest on that money if they put it in their bank! I would want my money and the interest earned back if they have to give a refund!!!
