well I have some questions...?I ask ai to write a code of wat I want it to build I review it before pasting it to my editor and run it and wen it fails I use another ai ( not the one I'm using to build ) as to y my code didn't work wat does that make me coz during that process I learn even if it's a little day by day

I am a caveman, I am still prompting Gemini, and copy pasting the code, but what makes me different from other cavemen, is I actually know what I need from the model. So I give it a well detailed system message and let it provide the code, I then iterate over the response until I get something remotely close to how I would do it. Plus I don't have money to buy thousands of tokens from anthropic 😁😁😁

My golden rule is to never copy-paste from Claude. If it gives me a code snippet I’m putting it on a second monitor and typing it out manually, sure it’s still copying, but at least I have a full picture of what’s happening, and I can correct inconsistencies on the fly.

i was wondering how juniors would start out nowadays in the age of ai. this is brilliant. for seniors tho, a company pays for your claude, they will expect fast results so for us learning would need to happen off the clock when working on your own projects

it's not defined by the use of multiple agents it's defined by the workflow prompt to start working on specific implementations or workflows you design -then it works does coding- then you can review loccaly with the CLI commands for codex and oss can use code rabbit for free - agent then checks findings fixes findings and then commits or push request merge - then work on the next task I have had loops rum for 15 commits/5 PR couldn't say the loc of the top of my head

never let the ai do anything without checking it's reasoning first even if you don't don't anything about coding you will at least see if what it is doing is alignment with the problems you're trying to solve

AI will just get better and ship with cleaner code. it's best to understand how to use AI models rather than the code it produces, unless you are a top tier programmer, then you can be a code auditor amd help correct the model.
