What if you start touching up the roots with redken shades? The grow out line blends better for me with Shades.

Ok hear me out… you only color your part until your hair is mostly grown out, then flip your part and cut off the rest of the brown. Then the only part you have to grow out is the brown underneath on the other side. Does that make sense? 😅

I swallowed that giant pride pill about 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter and stopped bleaching my hair to blend the grey. I got lucky with the way mine grows and it just looks like highlights. Now my hair is natural and healthy. Do it!

What about a platinum card but leave some dark like very fine weave if it. Don’t go to your roots to new growth. Tone and repeat in a few weeks. Lift low and slow with your k-18. Keep the integrity of your hair.

10 months ago I shaved my dark brown hair off! Wore wigs until I could style it on my own!!! I was told grey blending damages the hair but not sure if that’s 100% accurate. Plus I can’t stand seeing myself with grey roots and then dark brown everywhere else. Figured I’d start from the beginning!

Girl I'm with you, I'm dark, then white. Lol. Growing mine out now and it's a pain in the butt. Root spray is my favorite thing right now during this process.

I got tired of it too back during Covid and grew mine out. It took a year and a half. During that time I got some bleached highlights and toned it to match the gray. Now I get blonde highlights and brown low lights and it blends so well.

Use the color you use on your roots but do lowlights so you are coloring SOME of the gray fully but also letting other strands grow. I started doing this last year. Makes the grow out sooo much better to transition

My hairdresser is very good at blending the grey in. I’ve seen her do a few and they turned out very good. But she is in Mississippi. Poplarville to be exact.
