@gypsy_and_jules: My farrier took this challenge head on! Ranger's toes grew out and broke off on all 4 feet due to some mysterious medical thing. We think it was some sort of bacterial infection that got into his blood but no vet can figure out what happened. The feet all grew out and he had a huge horizontal Crack on each hoof and when they finally grew long enough they started to break off but he still had no toe. My farrier, Sam, spent a whole day and BUILT toes for Ranger so that he can come on our trip and be comfortable while his feet continue to grow back to normal!!! He's amazing!! #horses #horsegirl #cowgirl #farrier #farriersoftiktok
