@vegan_ventures: ONE MONTH LEFT to sign up for our Japan group tour happening this Octber 15th-22nd 2026! This tour is truly something special and off the beaten path. Japan has over 12,000 islands with so much to see! On our tour, we’ll be exploring southwest Japan, starting on the island of Kyushu, explore its neighboring islands and finish our journey in Osaka. Along the way, we’ll visit farms, including a shiitake mushroom farm in the Kunisaki Peninsula where we’ll forage mushrooms and have a farm to table meal as well as visit a tea farm and have a tea tasting. We’ll partake in food workshops including a kankoro mochi workshop, sushi class, and even a cooking class in Ōita, where you find many koji brewries. We’ll have a cooking class using fresh koji and seasonal vegetables We’ll also explore beautiful temples, buddhas, and exprience traditional practices including a zen practice in a quiet mountain temple as well as sand bathing in Beppu.
