@alexanderelorenzo: The next big money fight is not stablecoins versus banks. It is whether bank dollars and crypto dollars can even talk to each other. Everything we break down lives inside the community, link in bio, one dollar a month. On one side is USDC, the stablecoin issued by Circle, on public blockchains anyone can use. On the other side are bank deposit tokens like JPMD, a dollar held and controlled by JPMorgan. Both are digital dollars, but not the same kind. One is a non bank stablecoin, the other is bank issued, and the difference matters for regulation, credit risk, compliance, and who can hold it. JPMorgan says JPMD can settle and reconcile payments on chain for institutional clients, and Digital Asset and Kinexys plan to bring JPMD natively to the Canton Network. Meanwhile crypto already runs on USDC, around 60 percent of all DeFi USDC liquidity sits on Aave alone. So the real question is whether these two worlds can bridge. If a company holds JPMD but its counterparty wants USDC, and they cannot connect, liquidity stays fragmented. Visa's tokenized asset platform and the central banks' Project Agora are both pushing toward bank deposits and stablecoins settling together across public and permissioned chains. What it means for your money: the future may not be one digital dollar, it may be many digital dollars connected by trusted rails.
