My 11 week old is the same way, feel like I waste so much time trying to get her to do a bassinet nap and then she only sleeps for maybe 15-20 minutes. I love a contact nap but my back is ready to crumble…Any things that work for you please share!?

We got an hour and a half bassinet nap today, it’s usually 50/50 if it’s successful or not but we treat it like bedtime!! Diaper change, sleep sack, lights off, sound machine on, feed (usually falls asleep) then transfer to the bassinet. Last week was a joke though, we got 30 min bassinet and contact naps most of the time lol

I tried to do one bassinet or crib nap every day! She would usually make it like 20 min and then I’d go in and give her the paci and put my hand on her belly and she’d settle. Some days were 20 minutes, typically she now goes for at least 45 but we’ve gotten up to 2 hours! Her other naps I’m more flexible with but I always aim for one to build up the stamina!

I full on laid down with my toddler and we both enjoyed a good nap! 😂 I won’t have that luxury this time with a wild toddler running around, but it sure was nice a few years ago.

My daughter is like this too😅 the onlyyy time we get a bassinet nap is when we bring it to the living room! I also keep my sleep shirt in it during the day so she can smell me & it seems to help 50% of the time😂

My baby HATES baby wearing. Which is both great and awful at the same time 🤣 he sleeps in his swing a lottt. Try the bassinet but the longest he will go is like 15 mins 🫠

My fourteen month old still only contact naps or naps in the car so it’s really taught me to slow down. You’re doing great!! & it’s so sweet you’re her safe space 🩷

What is it about the carrier that makes them pass out?! 😅 My girl just turned 5 weeks and I tried a bassinet nap today… only got like 15 min then she went in the carrier 😂

I always put my 2 month old in his carrier for nap time! I usually clean the house up and he falls asleep. Sometimes I wear him the entire nap, sometimes I sit on our bed, undo the carrier, and slooooowy lay him down on the bed to finish his nap!

They say “don’t be afraid to make noise when you’re baby is napping” until it’s them fighting with an overtired fussy baby everyday! You’re doing amazing. Shoot I can’t wear mine in the carrier all day my back starts to hurt 😅

Mine instantly falls asleep in the carrier will nap for 2 hours in the carrier if I put him to sleep anywhere else he wakes up instantly 😭😭😭😩help
