I’ve done both. Working is harder. Staying at home is mentally taxing and isolating but having to juggle a full time job on top of everything at home, childcare, dr appointments, etc. is a whole new ball game. Especially when you get fired if you miss too much work. Something SAHM don’t have to worry about.
