The best thing you get in a new york deli is bacon , egg and cheese on a roll with a cup of coffee. Never heard of chopped cheese.

As a former NY’er I still get Pizza & bagels when I visit because I miss them. Not the same anywhere else. As for deli sandwiches… I’m going with my old standby: Ham & Swiss on rye w/ spicy brown mustard. 😎
