I found that you don’t lose your gay friends, you just get sucked into your hetero normative relationship. And your lesbian friends don’t want to hang out with your straight boyfriend and his straight friends 🤷🏻♀️

I’m a lesbian and the vast majority of my bi friends are dating men. Does that bother me? Not at all. Do I encourage them to bring their boyfriends with them to events like Pride? Yes. I don’t know who these imaginary evil biphobic lesbians are that everyone on this pod seems to experience constantly. Your average lesbian is 100% more likely to support you as a bisexual than a straight person. Let’s focus on that. Community. Unity against a common foe.

We make up the majority of the community. Make connections with other bisexuals, I promise it helps

My partner and I of 8 years are both bad bisexuals and proud of it! If only our community would recognize it

As someone who is in a long-term heterosexual relationship and discovered I was bi later in life I don't feel like I can or know how to be part of the community. Thanks for talking about this!

“the bad bisexuals are the ones who are legally allowed to marry their partner and not be hate crimed when they walk down the street with their partner and society rewards good bisexuals with having no rights”

Yes, operating in the middle. It's amazing having a really great community who accept me as I am.
