I’m romanian and we’ve always been taught that no, vlad the impaler was not imprisoned in the labyrinths of Budapest, instead he was in some kind of medieval house arrest and later on moved into a home in Hungary :) he never went to those dungeons like he never went to bran castle, except for one time when he was imprisoned there
