Food insecurity is real trauma. I’m sorry you had to go through that. As a foster parent I always try to make sure my kids always have access to food that they can get themselves.

As someone who lives in Japan, please please please tell them to get a 2-liter bottle of water or a very large water bottle and consistently drink water here. This humidity and heat is no joke. They’ll think they’re fine until they pass out from heat stroke and then it’s too late.

Just remind yourself one day with very little food will not hurt them, they will survive and u did what u could. They chose to not listen. You’re a great mama!

As a picky eater, those situations are good for him. If he gets so hungry he can’t stand to not eat, he’ll find something he’s willing to eat. If he’s willing to outlast the hunger and not eat, he’s okay. Either way it’ll be a lesson learned

My sons are adults and I worry about them being cold and hungry. I think it’s a normal mom thing. This will be another learning opportunity for them.

My daughters went to Ireland together when my oldest was 23 and 18. I’ll tell you, I didn’t sleep a wink until they landed. I barely ate until they landed. They were just fine, like they were like “mom, chill”😆😆

Mama, they’re gonna be fine. I’m guarantee he’s gonna find a snacks and he probably won’t thank you until after he comes home but he’ll find him and I’m sure he’s gonna find something to eat, but yeah he’s gonna be hungry in the process. I get it. I do but hugs and I bidthem. Safe travels.

My daughter flew to Prague..changed in Frankfurt with min to spare, didn’t know where to go, had to recheck luggage and customs..I’m freaking out trying to find another flight. She made the flight. They lost her luggage in Vienna. She survived. I did not. 😂
