@jesvalentinetattoos: Yes. I do coverups. Typically I approach them Differently than I did here. I usually like too create a whole new focal point and hide the existing tattoo in the background. Covering these three didn’t exactly lend me this opportunity and they were surrounded by other tattoos. Liza was afraid she would have to get something huge and all black to cover this old sugar skull. I assured her we didn’t have to go that route. However, when doing color like this directly blasting over the old piece, I require a second session to do a second coat to make sure it’s covered nicely. Trust the process.
