@thesameerproject: Millions around the world are watching the World Cup. In Gaza, children are watching for the next water truck. Here in line they wait with empty jerry cans, and they show us the victory poses and celebrations of their favorite go football stars. But we think we found the real stars. They don’t score goals, but they continue to smile through circumstances no child should ever have to endure. They dream, they play, they laugh, and they refuse to let hope disappear. These children deserve more than standing in line for water. Until that day comes, we'll keep showing up with every truck we can.
