HR here, if a supervisor is doing this I’m not helping them. Most of the time it’s the supervisor that’s the problem. They either didn’t address things when they should have and no frustrated or they’re not holding the other employees to the same standard they are not picking the other to. The Supervisor is making that employee golden because of their actions and making it even harder to direct because the supervisor screwed it up and now nothing can be done

During all the targeting and micromanagement the employee anxiety gets severe or they get a new diagnosis of anxiety due to a hostile work environment. This leads to a work comp case.

I had this happen to me from a *co-worker* who had no supervisory or managerial powers over my role but thought that they were my manager - which included them holding a meeting in front of the entire team to tell everyone how much they hated me and that I was the biggest problem in the department. Human resources, my union and our management were *extremely* upset.

exactly what I went through but my pip was blank. never received an HR or TMR meeting. I have proof of all my metrics met and a laxidaisy list of what I did wrong. been there 10 years with zero write ups. I didn't want to fight for a job I didn't want but now am on the float pool so I am still employed.

This happened to me when I challenged management (I was right). I was micromanaged and put on a PIP. I was given an unattainable task or accept continuous pay for 8 wks to resign. I worked until a week before the task was due and negotiated the offer. I got continuous pay & health insurance for 16 weeks. I got a job 2 weeks later so essentially double pay. I also got a referral bonus they said I wasn’t entitled to. 🤣
