@makingtravelwaves: I walked in for a training swim and instantly felt like I was on holiday. 🏊 This pool has a water slide above the lanes and a beach entry into your swim. 🩵 What you can expect: 1️⃣ An indoor freeform leisure pool with 3 wide swim lanes along the width that’s just under 25m long. It’s heated to around 27-30°C year round. 2️⃣ A sloped beach entry on the side of the pool providing step free access. You can enter your lane directly from the edge but I had fun wading in just for the experience. 3️⃣ The circular floor design, tiled islands and peninsulas are the reason this feels more holiday resort than North London leisure centre. 4️⃣ The water slide runs during family swim times only. I am sure it is very busy then but there were only 4 people swimming lengths on the morning I visited during lane swimming time. 📍 Archway Leisure Centre, 14 Macdonald Road, London N19 5DD 🚇 Archway Tube - 3 minute walk 🕐 Check the Better app for lane swim times - booking strongly recommended ♿ Accessible entrance, changing and toilets 💷 £7.00 pay as you go / £5.65 with Better membership 🔑 £1 coin needed for lockers 🏖️ If you want a swim & slide and waves action then check the schedule. In school holidays you can do lane swimming until 10.30am and then join in family fun at 11am.
