And that’s affordable 😅. Especially if paint matched! If you have the 360 bird eye there is a camera and sensor in the mirror. They are also heated. A lot more goes into never cars than you’d think!

GIRL. Do not. lol they quoted Chris like 4k for his. I found one on amazon for $300 & he just asked a repair shop to install it & they charged like $250-$300 for labor lol

Ford in general is INSANE. we bought a 2020 Ford Explorer a few years ago, and the headlights went out a little after buying it. Coveniantly the warranty didn’t cover headlights. 🙄 they quoted us 10000 for ONE headlight. ONE🙂↕️we needed up changing them ourselves for like 400 bucks.

Don’t call your insurance for it unless you absolutely need to. They’ll charge you a deductible then you’ll have two claims in a year even though the other one wasn’t your fault it’s still an accident and will effect your rate

I changed my Uconnect radio screen in my car for $100, dealership quoted me 2k….. because instead of just fixing the laminate, they were only giving me the option to replace the whole thing. Like BYEEEEE

Calibrations are what cost the most when the side mirror has a camera in it 😅 I use to work a body shop, you can’t get past the calibration! But you can deff call insurance, if your deductible is a lot lower it would be worth it just to pay the deductible

I work in the collision industry but that price depends on if the mirror has sensors and is oem - I’m going to guess it does 😫 it will need calibrated if so. Good luck girly! 🤞🏻

Girl ask for the part # or see if the part # is on the estimate and then you should just put that part # in eBay or check car-part. I would get a used one instead of paying $1,800!!

Look for your vehicle make and model at a junkyard and you could get the mirror probably for cheap you just have to take it off yourself

Sooo last month i decided to take my boyfriends bronco while he was out of the country & I dropped the drivers side top panel as I was taking the top off. 1 fucking plastic panel was $800. I had to bite the bullet and buy it before he found out 🙂🙂🙂🙂
