Originalist arguments go against every amendments passed after the Bill of Rights. The Supreme Court is now officially intellectually bankrupt.

Remember when the Supreme Court ruled that Corporations were people. Corporations had the same rights are people. Now we know why.

One minute, the constitution can only be interpreted as written in the times it was. The next, it’s a ‘living document that can be reinterpreted as needed’. History will remember Robert’s for what he is.

The Supreme Court with lifetime appointments seems unconstitutional in that all other representatives for the other two branches of government are voted into office.

Amazing how easily they can isolate back and forth. I am in a quandary about “Originalism?” They want to go back to when the Constitution was written, believing it is a ridged document. Yet, the fact the founding fathers allowed the Constitution to be Amended makes it a fluid document, too change as needed. As you said, the Supreme Court’s contradictory rulings on the same day makes no sense!

If the President can hire someone, then the President should also have the authority to fire anyone that he hired. There are only THREE branches of the government. The Constitution does not provide for a 4th branch.

There are 3 branches of government. The federal reserve is not in the Judicial Branch. It has to either be in the legislative branch or in the executive Branch. which one do you believe it to be in?
