ive done this on my motorcycle when the lights dont see me. -- there are laws around running the light, I choose to use the cross walk because its much safer for me and the other cars

These buttons do absolutely nothing to the lighting patterns of a crosswalk. They only control the walk/don’t walk indicators. In reality many of these buttons are not even connected and that is why they are often called “placebo buttons”! It’s hilarious to watch people rapid fire push these buttons th8nking they some how control a cities street light algorithm 😂😂

At a stop light there are presser lines under the road to alert for the lights to change, but you have to be far enough up to signal your there so the first car may not be far enough to the white line
