It’s genuinely a cycle, teens can’t afford to tip so some don’t, servers assume all teens don’t tip, so then bad service bc of that assumption, then teens don’t tip cause of bad service

i get stressed out when i have to pay in a sit down place that tips are expected and you feel forced to or if you don’t tip your a “horrible person” 😭😭 like bro i don’t think i should tip you because you brought my food to the table idkk

part of me wants to be a server just cause I liked doing that for my front house class (in culinary school) and I've heard nightmares about working as a server and living off tips.. does anyone recommend it? if so, what are some tips and if not, ig it rlly is a nightmare 😭

If I go with my mom then everything is speedy and the server is nice. If it’s me and my friends we’re lucky to even get a server, most of the time the manager takes our order

teens are more realistic abt the service they receive. most of the time people will tip well just on account of thinking it’s the right thing to do. (or they don’t , bad apppes exist too) but teens genuinely evaluate it i feel like. i got more insightful review feedback from teens than i did anyone as a server

I don’t ever tip and I don’t care too. The only time me and my family tip is when the server did an amazing job and if we can see they are going through something otherwise you’re not getting no tip from me idc.

if servers actually did their job when serving people it wouldn’t be a problem. it doesn’t matter the age, treat them with respect and they’ll tip you.
