Barcelona doesn’t have to break the bank. Here’s 10 free things you can do to get a great feel for the city! And soon you’ll be able to use @2wander.app to map out your itinerary, and budget everything to make sure you’re staying on track! 1. Montjuïc - free to go up and explore/get some great views of Barcelona and the ocean. Several paid opportunities like a few museums, cable car, and castle (disappointed by that one) 2. Sagrada Família (outside) - if you don’t have the opportunity to go in, the outside it still breathtaking 3. Arc de Triomf - easy to access and worth a quick visit 4. Gothic Quarter - wander the picturesque streets to your hearts content! 😍 5. Espai Moja - this was a random stumble but so near to try their VR experience! We couldn’t see the rest, but there’s more to explore! 6. Barceloneta Beach - grab your swimwear and a towel, go for a stroll, or just go to people watch! 7. Parc de la Ciutadella - walk just past the Arc de Triomf to explore! 8. Passeig de Gràcia - your see several Gaudi buildings from the outside, as well as luxury stores and boutiques for window shopping 9. La Rambla - ‘the heart of Barcelona’ as a local called it! A bustling street with shops and vendors 10. Església de Sant Jaume - free cathedral to explore, especially if you’re not going to Barcelona Cathedral or Sagrada Família 11. Port Vell - historic waterfront filled with boats, shops, and scenic views (great for sunset!) While I will admit there’s a handful of things I’d absolutely spend the money on in Barcelona, there’s lots of free things you can do to still enjoy the city! . . . #freethingstodo #barcelonacity #visitbarcelona #sagradafamília #2explorelife
