I raised a baby goat that wasn’t even 2 pounds born if you get a shirt or a cloth and just cover the top of the head and their eyes with the shirt or cloth, and then put a little bit of honey on the tip of the bottle and put it near their lips. They usually start sucking. And you can also touch between their eyes that also can start the suckling because it’s a natural instinct for them. They think it’s their mama’s utter leaning on their head.
