The police located the vehicle parked at a home and interviewed the two men who had been inside it. While the driver claimed they were only testing out the truck—which had been rolled over the previous weekend—officers set up a show-up identification with a 9-year-old victim who was brought to the location in a patrol vehicle. The victim confidently identified the passenger of the truck, Joseph, who was wearing a blue Nike shirt and blue shorts.
