@savannahacraven: While doing interviews at the NYC Dyke March, I bumped into a lesbian woman and asked her to define the word woman. I sensed a lot of fear in her to say the truth. The truth is males and females are different, which is beautiful. I have compassion for people who struggle with the body that they were born in. I have friends who struggle with gender dysphoria. I respect and love them. As someone who has never had a strong desire for having children, I can’t exactly understand how women who can’t physically carry children feel. But I can imagine there is a sense of feeling incomplete or less of a woman. I accepted long ago that God does not have it written on every woman’s plan to be a birth mother. However, as someone who has lost her mom, while no one will replace her, there have been strong women who have took on that motherly figure for me. For women who struggle with infertility or are not able to give birth, I see you. I respect you. And you are worthy.❤️‍🩹
