That Gen Z is lazy and we don’t want to work. Meanwhile the job markets horrendous and we’re basically set up to fail. Companies expect us to work for crumbs and be okay with it. Most of us want to work. We just know that we won’t take disrespect for minimal pay. Also the older generations make it hard for us to want to work in public service. We also don’t want to waste the one life we get working with no enjoyment. The older generations got to buy a house in their 20s. Tons of us can’t. Sooooo yeah.

That I, a millennial, am responsible for participation trophies. I'm sorry, but it was our Boomer teachers who were giving them to us...we didn't invent the concept. They did. Fun fact: I didnt get my first participation trophy/ribbon until the year we met, and it confused the hell out of me.

I'm a Boomer, a late Boomer aka GenJones. Anyway, I use my Boomerism. I like to pretend to people who treat older people as useless by being just that. I will say, "oh my. I'm a Boomer and this is beyond me". I will act like technology is black magic. I like to say "back in my day..." then I just gaze blankly off into the distance like I'm in a deep memory. this works well when the other person is trying to speed things up. If I get an eye roll, I'm a happy lady. lol

That all Gen X’s had absent/distant/uninvolved parents. My parents both worked, and yes, I had babysitters before and after school as a kid, but we all had dinner together every night and my parents always knew what was going on.

That as Gen X we don’t understand technology (we built it) and that we’re lazy or apathetic when we’re just exhausted because we went from raising our siblings to raising our own kids to caring for our parents.
