I remembered when l was in high school l used to do hair n love doing it and l said l wanted to do hair as my profession . I was told l have no ambition bcuz l was bright n want to do the lowest type of work . I have to self motivate myself with a few of my family members and friends pushing me.

You said it they were not taught so they become what they live. In addition to that alot of our parents did finish high school our college so they live their lives through their kids. The arts will not be celebrated unless you are the best.
