Very smart and bright fella. Republicans and Ted Cruz are still trying to use the same old script from 2001: “He’s Muslim, therefore he’s dangerous.” But people are awake now and that fear-based narrative doesn’t work like it used to. The fact that NYC has a Muslim mayor should tell you something, let that marinate for a minute.

We talked about the current field of candidates and what direction the world may turn. We both agreed that the next great president would come out of left field, like not long ago.
