Music is supposed to make you feel something—whether it’s happiness, sadness, excitement, anger or even nostalgia.. Misery
Music is supposed to make you feel something—whether it’s happiness, sadness, excitement, anger or even nostalgia.. Misery" by Pupsies? It makes me feel something, right. It makes me want to skip the song. I know some people might like it. For me the sound, the repetition and the overall vibe make it really hard to enjoy. One of the problems with "Misery" is how fast it becomes annoying. It doesn’t build up to anything. Instead it just loops in the spot. Repetition can work in music—it can make a song catchy—. Here it feels like the song has run out of ideas. After hearing the phrases and melodies over and over I kept waiting for something new to happen.. It never did. Then there’s the mood. The title "Misery" sets the tone and the song doesn’t try to change that. It’s dark. It’s heavy.. While a sad song can be powerful—especially with strong lyrics or a moving performance—if the listener doesn’t connect with those elements the sadness just becomes dull. It doesn’t touch me emotionally. It just makes me want to switch tracks. And the song doesn’t stick. Great songs have something that stays in your head—a killer chorus, clever words, a beat you can’t shake or a sound that stands out. "Misery" doesn’t have that. After it ends I don’t think, "I need to hear that " I think, "Finally. That’s over.” Course music is personal. Someone else might love "Misery" completely. That’s okay. People have tastes.. Based on what I like and what I respond to this song doesn’t do it for me. It doesn’t entertain. It doesn’t make me want to play it Between the repetition the downbeat vibe and the lack of anything "Misery" by Pupsies isn’t a masterpiece, to me. It feels like a punishment. There are many songs I’d rather listen to. "Misery”? It’s not making the cut. #misery #corny #fyp #foryou #foryoupage
