My fourth grade teacher let us summer babies pick what day we wanted to celebrate our birthdays on!! That was the only teacher I ever had that didn’t forget about us summer babies and it obviously made an impact on me!

Please consider doing half birthdays for the kiddos that have their bdays over summer break. My husband is 47 with a mid June birthday and he still talks about never having celebrations at school 😢

since its your first year! you should get some kind of shadowbox type thing that you can put a bead or something in for each kid you teach each year so you can look back at retirement and see all the little lives youve touched!

my elementary school let us celebrate summer birthdays on our half birthday. they would let the summer babies know and put it in the calendar and everything so they felt fully included

We do the “A-Z countdown to summer” and “S” is summer birthdays and we celebrate anyone with a summer birthday! Soooo many treats and such a blast, all of my kiddos parents were SO thankful!
