Idc if I get hate for this but it feels like a slap in the face to the readers. Not only have we waited almost 6 years for acotar 6, we are less than 4 months away from the release and they won’t give us a crumb of info on the book but they will release yet another new cover?!?!

let's say that the rumours are true and sjm is leaving bloomsberry soon(ish), maybe it might be worth holding off on buying them until we know for sure. if sjm leaves them watch new covers or rerelease happen....again just with her full creative control

I feel like this is going to be a tamlin heavy book and might be a bit polarising so there’s some extra cash-grabbing around it to keep the profits high despite that, and then the next one will be sort of back to regularly scheduled fan fave stuff and won’t need the extra push.

I don't have the Acotar series in physical books but if I did I would be soooo pissed rn. also, as much as I love aesthetically pleasing, I would not buy all of them again, at most I would buy the new Silver Flames and have the "og trilogy" with the old covers

I have the OG covers for 1-3.5, whatever version came out for 4. I will not be buying any new covers for those. And you can pry those OG covers from my cold dead hands 🤣

personally I read books for the first time on kindle. if a series is finished and I really enjoyed it I will buy the box set, similar with a stand alone. Partly as a space saver but also I hate a mis-matched set

We don’t even know what the new covers look like. I personally liked the original covers better than grey/neon covers they released afterwards. I don’t like these covers at all so I decided not to purchase them, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing the new ones coming out in October/January since they don’t even have the decency to release the covers, and especially if they’re planning to change them AGAIN later on
