You wanna know what hurt the most? It wasnt just being cheated on once.. it happened over n over again. And every single time, I chose to forgive bcs I genuinely believed things would change. The hardest part? We were engaged. We were only a step away from getting married. I had already pictured a future with that person.. only to watch it fall apart bcs of the same betrayal. In the end, I cancelled the wedding n walked away. I cut off everything immediately..not bcs I stopped loving them.. but bcs I finally realized I had to choose myself.
