Now it is silent treatment, withholding affection, short answers, eye rolls, emotional distance, and a tone that makes you feel like a burden in your own home. Mood 3: The victim when confronted. The moment you bring up what she did, suddenly she is hurt. You are attacking her. You are too harsh. You are making her feel unsafe. Now the conversation is no longer about her behavior. It is about your reaction. That is how the script gets flipped. Mood 4: Rage when control stops. When you set a boundary, stop chasing, stop explaining, or stop reacting, the mask slips.
