I finally managed to feel nice with someone last night for the first time since my breakup last year. We discussed stuff beforehand, had a slow buildup with ages of talking and flirting that felt good, kissed at an event, and yesterday I made them soup and we watched a movie and chatted, cuddled, and kissed a bunch. It's not gonna be romantic, but it's intimate, warm, safe, and nothing in my body felt blocked or scary during our time together. There's just something about being with someone who really likes men and has an intimate understanding of transness, even when theyre not a trans man or dont have certain kinds of dysphoria (I haven't slept with a cis person who Ive had this experience with, just trans and non binary people)

i gotta say.. as annoying as this sounds, the right person will be patient. they will be understanding and eager to learn, do better and make you feel safe. i still feel scared and anxious about being ANY kind of intimate with anyone, but it really does get better

my girlfriend is so cautious and gentle about it. she offers nothing but patience and even took the time to research different gender affirming care products that are more advanced than just a “strap” or a toy. SHE taught ME about gender affirming prosthetics. she lets me have all control and move at whatever pace i need. and never gets upset or makes me feel bad if i’m not in the mood or change my mind. it really is all about finding the right person, which i admit can be tricky as a trans man. it took me awhile. hell was the journey but it brought me heaven.

It took like 3/4 years for me to be shirtless around my lady and 8 to feel comfortable receiving touch like everything was ticklish/sensitive to where it was unbearable but now everything is amazing. Thankful to have someone so understanding and thoughtful! It takes time but soon you will have your euphoria
