The “you just need to strengthen the surrounding muscles” people drive me crazy. Like I have a lot of muscle because they’re doing the job my connective tissue is supposed to do of keeping my shoulders in their sockets, Barbara, and I also do yoga and other strength training…unfortunately if I do too much physically, my body decides it is under attack and goes into an autoimmune flare. And by “too much” I mean what a typical person would call a pretty normal exercise routine.

My legs do that too, if I don’t focus on keeping my knees normal, they walk backwards. I’d like to specify that I’m not telling you to not wear your braces. They’re clearly medically necessary and necessary for your quality of life.

The knee shuffle is so real 😭 not hyper mobile, just have CRPS in one of my legs but I have to compensate for the strain on my good leg, so gently shifting weight is PAINFUL and tiring

fun fact i can walk like fast walk with my dog for 2hours at once without to much pain BUT standing or waiting in a line and stuff like that, i have like 2 minutes before i start crying
