I reported an uber driver for the same reason. Driver sat parked 1-2 minutes away for about 5 minutes before starting the trip. I nearly canceled but would have been charged a $6 fee, so I waited. At that point, any other driver taking the trip would’ve been better anyway. Once I got in, he made a comment implying I have it easy compared to him, referencing a different day when he personally waited 10 minutes for a ride and comparing it to how quickly he was matched with me this time. I’m paying for this ride. He’s not doing me a favor. The comment felt personal, unnecessary, and like I was supposed to be grateful.
