Okay letter carrier’s wife here. Just need to correct one part about Joseph. He was they called a part time flex. They worked the same hours and routes as full fledged employees he just wasn’t hired on or given the postal test. They weren’t given the same benefits either. I know this because my husband started in the same position. I remember this being a topic in the union newsletter and magazine. Such a sad story.
