Thoughtsss: i really like the “never be enough” perspective cause you can take it in so many directions. I tried showcasing a couple, like how Shirayuki wants more than being taken through life with Zen’s title as a shield to get whatever she wants (clearly demonstrated in episode 4 etc), how everyone else think she’s not good enough for Zen because of her social status, and how she feels (more “felt” now) unsure of how this relationship would even work. And also how Shirayuki can never get enough of her studies as an herbalist. She’ll never stop going, earning knowledge, respect, experience, allies, skills and so much more on her path. She’s such a passionate character and I love that about her 🙂‍↕️🫶

Her ambition is one of my favorite traits of hers cause it sets her apart from many female characters, specially in romance. It’s quiet but it’s there in her determination and in how she’s shown to literally loose days of sleep over studying or finding a cure for desease. It complements her kindness because her commitment to becoming the best herbalist she can be is driven by her desire to care for others. And I love how (as is shown in this beautiful edit TYSM Sonia) all of this doesn’t disappear the moment she gets a boyfriend.
