hollywood: oh you like this show that casts a bunch of kids? welp we're going to only out out seasons every summer olympic year so by the time the series ends they will all be in their 20s even though only a year has gone by in the show.

I miss when shows were produced for a TV schedule... So many shows feel "almost good" and I think it's because the industry hasn't fully adjusted to the new streaming-based show structure. It's like so many shows would have been good they fit the 20-ep 20-min structure with prior knowledge of more seasons to come but they feel eh with the 8-ep 40-min we-could-be-canceled-at-any-second-so-why-bother structure

Don’t forget that each season has a different producer and writing team and this a totally different vibe and by season 6 the writers are so out of ideas they just ruin all your favorite characters

it astounds me that GOT had a new season every year despite the scope of the story and the amount of cgi and effects they had but a highschool drama takes 5 years to get a subpar season 2 like, say what you want about it and it's writing but the production was LOCKED IN
