Yeah, I bought my house in the 80s for 68,000. Just sold it for 549,000. It was paid for obviously plus my Social Security plus what I already had in the bank account. I’m doing pretty well and I’m gonna enjoy every bit of it but don’t worry I have my daughter set up. She’s 31. She’ll do just fine after I’m gone.

I live in a regional town in Australia and even the ‘dodgy’ areas are 300k minimum.. rentals are like 400-800 a week in country areas. I’m not even in the city. There’s no starter home
