As a Floridian, if I even saw a cup of water outside I’d assume there was an alligator in there. Also, it’s June, it’s still technically gator mating season.

I see a puddle and ask my kids "coukd there be an alligator in there?" We laugh but we know that any water that's not a pool or the ocean there could be an alligator in it.

If there's a body of water, there's a 100% chance there's an alligator in it. You don't swim in any body of water with the exception of your pool (after checking if you don't have an enclosure) and the springs (as long as there's spotters).

I learned something I sure hope I’ll never have to do.. but the little girl that survived a recent alligator attack said she stuck her fingers in the gator’s nostrils and it immediately opened its mouth and released her.. they breathe thru their snout … hope this helps

Sad fact : the gator bite both of her arms off..she had no way to fight back which is why her boyfriend stepped in the way he did she didn’t survive I can’t remember if she was taken into the water or if she’s the one who got away but died later either way it’s super sad and yall have no compassion
